my brain could not comprehend what was happening; this creature in front of me, blood dripping from its jagged toothed maw, my arm hanging from its mouth as it slowly ate it. Death was here for me, like I knew it always would be, but how dare it come in a form designed to break my sanity before it ate me.

music, a single word, a smell, or sometimes an entire line will just appear in my head and I am hit with the need to write it down. I have pages upon pages of inspiration and scenes, and conversations for characters and books.

what I've found so far is writers block for me appears when I'm trying to force the story or character in a direction that has no business being there. So when I remove it and let it flow naturally I find my block gone.
I also step away for a few days. I watch tv, or read a book. I keep my brain occupied with everything else, and usually a few days or a couple weeks later an Idea hits and I'm able to get back into it.

I love the sounds of my keyboard clacking away when I am in the middle of a writing frenzy. lol.
But really its seeing and idea come to life. I write what I want to read so I am excited to create it. I love when the story takes itself in directions i never expected. For characters to become things I never realized they were until they were put to paper.

just sit down and write. Even if it's gibberish just write, write down the ideas, the snippets of conversations you think would make an awesome moment in a book. You never know when one of those things will spark an entire book. Mine was my opening 3 paragraphs. The thought of it popped into my head and it stuck there for a long time, until I finally put it on paper and then the rest just poured out of me.

I am currently working on book 2 in the Deadly Little Thing Trilogy, as well as mapping out a fantasy book. World building, magic systems and so on.

I don't know. I love action movies, I love spy and hitman shows and stories. But I also love a kick ass FMC and I LOVE spice in my books. So I wrote what I wanted to read. I hope others want to read it as well.
