My first love is historical, whether romance or straight fiction. I also enjoy inspirational novels as well. Sometimes I'm in the mood to read paranormal, especially books by Tina Folsom. I have read some Billionaire romances as well.

I've just finished Miss Kathleen's Scandalous Baron and have it sent out to several beta readers for feedback. I plan to release it in January 2016. I am also working on a sweet contemporary military romance, writing as Vikki McCombie. I hope to have it out in January 2016 as well.

Initially, I just had an image of a young woman standing on a ship with her small child beside her. For weeks, that's all I had, but then one night as I was reading the first scene came to me, and 3 weeks later I had a complete manuscript.
