I'm trying to find a book you recommended in one of your videos a few years ago that was (I think?) a magical realism or fantasy novel. I cannot remember the title or author (SO sorry), but the storyline had something to do with an author whose office door is a portal to another world, and a little girl goes through it and gets lost. It had a black cover with a picture of an open door on it. Sorry to be a pain!

Hi Jen, I just finished reading A Portable Shelter by Kirsty Logan and there was a reference to Jen Campbell in one of the stories. Coincidence or is there a story/truth behind it??

hello.. THIS IS NOT A QUESTION ? i have read all the bookstore books and i loved it. and i really want to read your short story collection " the beginning of the world in the middle of the night" but where i live, this book is not in the bookstore and currently im not able to purchase it online due to it high price. but im looking to read it. p.s : i love to watch your youtube channel.

Jen Campbell I'm not sure.... a few hundred. I don't keep books I've read and not loved; I keep as many as will fit on the bookcases I have. :)

Hi Jen, I need to know!! Where did you got the idea to name the dragon (in the flying bookshop) Franklin? Cause all my life i happened to find it the most suitable name for a dragon!

Jen Campbell A few people have been asking me this recently and, honestly, I don't remember. He's always been called Franklin in my head. I know that's probably not helpful, sorry! x

Jen Campbell Yes, I do. I think because I have an author account the layout is slightly different; I believe you have to be on a computer to see the button.

I saw your video on Franklin's Flying Bookshop and think my daughter will LOVE it. But I want to make sure that I get the naked hardback. (She's 6 and dust jackets don't last with her. We live in the States and unfortunately our edition with have the dust jacket. Is there a specific ISBN that I can use or distributor? I was watching one of your YouTube videos where you discussed your favorite books of 2015 and mentioned the play, Peter and Alice. It really intrigued me and I'd love to read it, but I was just curious if I should go into it with any background knowledge of Peter Pan? I'm not very familiar with the author or the history of the characters, so I just want to make sure I have enough background going in. Thanks!

Jen Campbell Not really - though if you wanted to you could watch the film Finding Neverland (strays a little from the truth in places but very good). I also uploaded a video analysing Peter Pan a couple of weeks ago, which you could watch before reading the play.

Do you think your books will ever go to audiobooks? Just curious because I have a family member that loves books but has a very hard time with her eyes. I sure hope you do.

Jen Campbell Probably not the ones already out but a book I'm working on at the moment will be turned into an audiobook, and I'll be recording that myself. Go and see my Writing Q&A video that I uploaded last week :) x
