(view spoiler)[Many readers who love this perspective wonder if Darcy’s story could continue beyond the events of Pride and Prejudice. Have you ever considered exploring more of his life after the novel? (hide spoiler)]

Yes! Thank you for the question. Mr Darcy had a life and a wonderful one after his marriage to Miss Elizabeth Bennet. There would have been children, and Darcy himself with his connections undoubtedly will rise to prominence and great influence in government or business. He was only twenty-six when my novel ended so there remains, as with Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice”, much of his life and that of Mrs Elizabeth Darcy to explore.

I am working with a fabulous narrator and actor, Elizabeth Grace, from the UK to create an audio version of “Mr Darcy- Through The Looking Glass”. She and another well known UK narrator, Harry Frost, created the audio version of my first book, “Sanditon on Reflection”.

Don’t over think it. Don’t worry about anything including your potential audience. Just let the words flow. Editing and clean up can come after your story is written.

I don’t aspire to write. I require inspiration and when it comes, or at least when it has come in the past, it comes with a flood of words only slowed by the process of getting them written.

You are free as you will ever be to let your mind (and pen or keyboard) go where it will.

I haven’t endured writers block to date.

It began with the unfinished 2019 Sanditon TV production which was cancelled after Season 1. Andrew Davies, of regency era film/TV fame, was the screenwriter. Season 1 ended with a cliff hanger and ITV followed by Masterpeace PBS cancelled a planned second season. No fan of Jane Austen could allow that, a story ending without a Jane Austenesque Happy Ever After ending, so I wrote a second season which I published in installments on Facebook, Instagram and Booksie. It proved so popular that I determined to write a “proper” conclusion to Jane Austen’s unfinished fragment from which the 2019 Sanditon Season 1 was born and it became “Sanditon on Reflection” and “Ricordi di Sanditon” in its Italian version.
