Read, learn, be true to yourself and your values, experience the uniqueness of your life, of your place in this world fully by following your bliss, as Joseph Campbell said. Meet authentic people, have authentic experiences, and writing ideas will start coming to you because good writing comes from well-processed authentic experiences, the strengh of those "aha" moments, and the meaning of sharing them with fellow human beings.

I have had several readers from around the world contact me--in our age it is not hard to find an author's email--and tell me how my book has impacted them. My book has been translated in Farsi, Turkish, and Slovak, and is currently being translated in Chinese and German. Knowing that it will have an impact on readers all over the world is most rewarding.

I don't. If I have nothing to write, I just don't write anything. I know that is time for processing, for silence, and that is fine. I only write when I feel I have something important to share with my fellow human beings.

I read as much as I can, and I give myself time to process what I read. In that processing sometimes something cooks and I want to write it down in order to share it with people. I write in order to be helpful to people in areas in which I have some knowledge and experience. Being useful and helpful is what inspires me.
