I'm working on 2 projects. The Death of Light which is Book 2 in the Scolaris mystery series and The Only Way is Murder, which is Book 1 in a new cozy mystery series.

The Death of Knowledge is about to release in February 2022. I wrote it during the Covid lockdown and at the time all theatres and arts venues were shut. It made me wonder what it would be like to live in a world without the creative arts and that was the spark of an idea.

Just write! Make writing a habit, something you do every day, like brushing your teeth. It's hard to begin with but the daily practice makes it easier.

I don’t believe in writer’s block. If I’m finding a section hard to write I adopt a number of strategies 1) go forward to a scene that I can’t wait to write and then go back or 2) mind map the difficult section to explore new ideas and 3) go for a long walk. The solution invariably appears when you least expect it!
