Ha! That's easy. I would go to Hogwarts, learn magic, and become a great wizard!

Hi Jean, it's great that you're reaching out and trying to find ways to improve your health. I'm not able to comment about that specific piece of gym equipment, but resistive bands as a rule are helpful at building strength and are fairly user friendly. I'm sure it will come with instructions. Start slow with just a few exercises to see how your body reacts. Add only one or two exercises to the routine every few days so if one bothers you, you'll know which exercise to eliminate. Stay safe and don't give up!

Hi Ash! I received my first diary for Christmas at the age of 8. Up to that point, I'd been telling stories and talking my mother's ear off, I guess. When I was even littler than that, my Grandfather used to sit me on his lap and help me write them down. I kept journals all through my teens and twenties. Just random musings, poetry, and events of the day, but I found that writing helped me express myself in a unique way and often helped me through painful times. I didn't actually start writing toward publication until I was an adult and my kids had all grown up and gone. Once I had a story in my head that wouldn't leave me alone, I couldn't NOT write:-)
As for advice for other writers: Be true to yourself. Write for the pure joy of creating something meaningful, beautiful, and necessary to the world. Never give up on your dreams, and make every word count!
Peace and blessings in 2015! May all your dreams come true:-)

I procrastinate as long as I can and then I plow through it! If my creativity isn't flowing, I try to get out and do something physical to get my mind off it, but when I come back to write, it's just a matter of pushing myself to get words on the page. Even if the writing is terrible, I just remind myself that I can fix it later, but I can't edit a blank page.

I like the flexibility I have to create my own production schedule. Being an Independently published author, I can write as much or as little as I want. I have total control and creative freedom over my cover art, editing, formatting, etc., and I am my own boss:-)

I'm working on the third book in the Chronicles of Lily Carmichael trilogy. It's called HEALING WATERS and should be out later this year.

Some days, it's definitely harder than others. But usually, the characters in my head and their unfolding story won't leave me alone for long. When I'm stuck, it helps to get out into nature or stand under a hot shower for a while. My creativity seems to flow best around water!

Back in 2011, I took a seventeen day Mediterranean cruise. It was an amazing experience seeing fourteen ports in seventeen days! I kept notes every day, took a million pictures, and held onto all the brochures from each excursion, hoping to use the information in a story. Pieces of Love was born from that experience.
