Emily Isaacson I am currently working on a new book called The White Nightgown. I am thrilled to be staring a cottagecore poetry series with this book as the jumping off point. I write every day in my favourite green embroidered April Cornell white nightgown for vintage effect to this painterly and heritage book. I think you'll want to get a copy of this beautiful antique book when it comes out.
Emily Isaacson The best thing about being a writer is your job is something you love, that pot of coffee that sets your day to just write, and seeing your book in print for the first time. You have such a feeling of amazement that your scribbles actually come to life! Working as a team with others who believe in your project makes it all worth it.
Emily Isaacson I get inspired to write by viewing art of other mediums at art galleries, or going to bookstores, and libraries. Seeing what other people do inspires and motivates me to write. I think of art in various mediums as very conversational.
Emily Isaacson I got the idea to write my most recent book Odes with my nieces and nephews in mind. There are so many children, and I wanted them to be able to read something from me as they got older. The book is divided into twelve sections, based on the twelve seasons and at the time there were twelve children. That book is not available on Goodreads but it is available through my official website.
