Katy Grabel Folks tend to think magic shows are about deception and hoodwinking people and I'm here to say that if a magician is good its an invitation to step outside our narrow limited view of things, and see the potentiality that's all around us. Unfortunately, many people go to magic shows to figure out how things are done.

Hi Katy, I found you in the group of author's discussion here. I'm new too - well, I've been a member for awhile but inactive. I published my memoir in June so am learning more about marketing it. I'm happy to follow you and am putting your book on my want to read list. I have a book giveaway coming up March 2 - so sign up for that if you are interested in my book! Here's my question: how long ago did your father die?

Katy Grabel Hey Amy! Yes, I'd like to read your book. ( I did ask you a question in the discussion group about trust.) Anyway, than you for reaching out. My father actually died ten years ago. After he died, I had a lot of grief to deal with as my mother and husband died, too. And then covid and just stuff kept me from finishing it. . But it's out now, and I'm so glad. I feel like I'm closing a chapter of my life. Okay. So I will look for your giveaway on March 2nd. Really appreciate your support.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Katy Grabel I loved The Many Daughters of Afong Moy so much I want to read Jamie Ford's other book: Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. And Rabbit Hutch for sure.
