I have a little bit of dyslexia. I can read but it exhausts me. I've notice that many of your books aren't in a listening format. Do you have Chance Encounter in an audible format?

Jennie Hansen When this book was published in 2000, my publisher released it on a set of cassettes at the same time as the print version. I don't have any copies of those cassettes. I don't know if my publisher, Covenant, still has any or not. All of my books were released with an audio version, but the early ones were all cassettes which aren't generally on the market now.

I am looking for your book,"Ripple Effect" on CD and not finding it anywhere. Do you have any suggestions on where I can find one? I have truly enjoyed reading your books and listening to them on CD. Thank You, Julie Kraus

Jennie Hansen Julie, I don't have a book titled Ripple Effect. Traci Hunter Abramson wrote one with that title and it is a great book. You can probably get a CD on Amazon, Deseret Book, or Seagull Book. It has been a few years (2015) since my last book (By the River) was published (health problems). I am working on one now, but I'm only about half way through writing it and I'm not writing very quickly. I think most of my books are still available on CD and I assume this one will be if I ever finish writing it. I'll be sure to announce it everywhere when it's finally ready for publication. Jennie Hansen All of my books are available on CD for audio listening.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Jennie Hansen My summer reading list is too long to list. I read any new books sent to me for review by any LDS publisher or independent writer who is LDS or has an LDS theme. I'll probably start out with Defiance by Sowards, Winds of Change by Mathews, and Chance for Home by Abramson. I have half a dozen Romance novels in my "to read stack", and I just finished an outstanding World War II novel, "Hearts of the Fathers" by Darryl Harris.

I'm trying to find your new book "By The River" in good reads. It isn't listed. Is it possible for you to get it listed in good reads?

Jennie Hansen I don't know what to say. "By the River" shows up on other people's lists including mine. I don't know why you can't access it. Try adding Hansen at the end of the book title; sometimes adding the author's last name pulls up books I can't otherwise pull up.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jennie Hansen A number of court cases that weren't handled well, a neighbor boy, a newspaper story, my frustration that I can no longer run, my love of the Jordan River trail, a dog I once loved. Lots of things jumbled around in my head and showed up in snatches in this book.

What are you currently working on?

Jennie Hansen I'm not currently working on a novel, but I am writing reviews for Meridian Magazine. I have a new book BY THE RIVER coming out next month and a novella THREE LITTLE WORDS in January.
