Josh Spilker My old neighborhood Woodbine had a lot of food trucks. Not like cool ones, but just regular ones, created and run by Mexican or Central American immigrants. So I started thinking about "cool" food trucks vs. "authentic" food trucks and potential conflict there. That got the ball rolling for Taco Jehovah. I kind of left that out of the book, but I layered on some ideas about God and hearing voices and calling and made that part of the book as well.
Josh Spilker Getting stuff finished...which rarely happens.
Josh Spilker I copy other people's writing. I just start writing it word for word. This helps me get in the flow and open up some new pathways or something. I wrote more about that here: https://medium.com/create-make-write/...
Josh Spilker probably like 'where did i put my scooter keys' and then 'where is my atlanta hawks hat' and it turns out i left my atlanta hawks in my scooter, which i discovered after i found my scooter keys
