I've been reading paranormal romances. Really enjoying Piper Davenport's Cauld Ane Series. You can get the sweeter versions of these books. And Molly Harper's Mystic Bay series. So good. Also Linda Winstead Jones Mystic Springs books.

To Hogwarts where I'd be a student in Ravenclaw! (Yes, I'm a total nerd.) I railed against the Ravenclaw placement until I caught sight of the bookshelves in the dormitory and then I oohed and aahed and accepted that I belong in Ravenclaw.
Also would love to live on Harmony, the world Jayne Castle (Ann Krentz) created with dust bunnies! I'd totally want to have a dust bunny sidekick and visit Illusiontown and Rainshadow Island.

I was smitten back when I first realized you could take words and put them together to form a sentence. Then building on that sentence, a paragraph and then a page... it was magical to me. Still is today. (:

Hmm, there are a lot of great benefits to being a writer. Perhaps my two favorite are I get to work from home and I'm doing what I love!

I go back and reread what I wrote before I got stumped. Then typically I can figure out where the story went off course and fix it. If that doesn't work, I walk away for a little while. Give things time to simmer. One of these always works and the story flows again. (:
