no question, just wanted to comment that yours is the first book whose cover made me click the 'want to read' button, no questions asked, no reviews read. Hah, and I just found out that this has to end with a question mark, so read this last part in a continuously elevating pitch?

Matt Darst Hi, S.K. I'm so very sorry that I haven't answered your "question" earlier. I just came across it, and I now realize I need to check Goodreads more often.
I really appreciate your comment about the cover. A very talented artist by the name of Matt Hale worked on it with the publisher and myself, taking my rough sketch and extremely vague idea of a dead end street and making it so much more. We're currently working with Matt on my next cover for a paranormal superhero tale called Freaks Anon. Matt's work, by the way, can be found at http://matthaledesign.com.
