What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Martin Bodenham I want to re-read Red Notice by Bill Browder. While it is a non-fiction book, it has to be one of the most thrilling stories I've read in years. I can't recommend this one enough.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Martin Bodenham John Kent and his PA, Tara, in The Geneva Connection. His affair gets him into a whole lot more trouble than he thought!

Hi Martin Re Geneva Connection free. As a fellow author/ex Brit can I ask how the strategy of giving away novels for free impacts sales on other works? I am considering doing the same, and would appreciate your thoughts. Stuart

Hi Stuart

At this stage in my writing career, I am concentrating more on expanding my readership than sales. That is why I am experimenting with limited free offers. In this crowded market, it is difficult for a new name to build an author brand, as you know. I'd be happy to share my experience once the offer period is over.
