Hey Tracy,
Oh boy...that's a tough one because it's going to be from Gavin's point of view and it will tie up the first story arc for the Kyn, but... *shakes Magic 8 Ball, checks answer* The outcome for a late 2020 is currently looking good. I know, not what you or your friend wanted to hear, but unfortunately Bishop and company from PSY-IV Teams have lost their patience with me and demanded their share of my attention. Never fear though, once I get back to the Kyn I've got the Motoki Pack and the Sarielian Order to keep me company.

My TBR list, as always, is long. Right now I still need to get through Jennifer Estep's SNARED, Anne Bishop's ETCHED IN BONE, plus I just got caught up on Julie Ann Walker's BKI series with WILD RIDE and Kristen Ashley's THE DEEP END from her new Honey series. Not to mention all the latest and greatest from Ilona Andrews, Christine Feehan, Nalini Singh, Rebecca Zanetti, Katie Reus, Jennifer Ashley, Cynthia Eden, and oh so many more!

Hmm, a real life mystery? I'm going to have to reach back a couple generations for this one. During a recent discussion with a family member, I discovered that the name our family claimed upon immigrating to America from Scotland, was not the family's actual name. Rumors abound the name change was due to a spot of trouble this particular part of our family got into which resulted in sailing to the land of opportunity. The question asked with no ready answer--what kind of trouble did they get into?

Aw man, this is not an easy choice, but I'm going to have to go with Charles and Anna from Patricia Briggs' Alpha and Omega series. What brings me back to these two, time and time again, is the fact that each character balances the other in both strengths and weaknesses creating a remarkable connection. You don't expect the titanium core from quiet, gentle Anna which allows her to be the perfect fit for her self-contained, tightly controlled Charles. It's a beautiful example of what a relationship can really be.

Throw my computer out a very tall building? *Sigh* Okay, so that's an exaggeration. As tempting though it is, I will get up and walk away from what I'm working on. If I can't get through something, a scene, character development, a plot point, I'll walk away and give my sub-concious some time to chew it over. Generally, when I'm stuck in the shower with shampoo in my eyes, it'll spit out the solution and I'll run around my house like a mad woman leaving behind a trail of water and soap.

The initial meeting of my character and developing the world they live in. I'm a huge, HUGE reader and find myself going to various authors to escape (Christine Feehan, Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, Kevin Hearne, Jim Butcher...I could ramble on but I won't) and being able to create my own fictional world, it's an exciting journey I don't ever want to miss out on.

Most of my stories begin with a character, then the story line begins to emerge. Something about delving into what makes an individual character unique, that is what brings me and my Muse together. Once we know who we're writing with, then we know what kind of mess to drop them into.

While my first love in reading has been UF, I've discovered a trend in my Romantic Suspense readings, a fascination for characters with military ties. Hence the reason my upcoming HUNTED BY THE PAST combines my love of the paranormal with romantic suspense centered around ex-military members.
