I got the idea for Propaganda Power while writing Unlocking The 4 Core Skills of Logic and Critical Thinking. My goal with that book was to help people sharpen their reasoning, recognize logical fallacies, and make informed decisions. But as I explored deeper, one issue kept standing out—propaganda.
I realized that misinformation and manipulation often succeed because they’re designed to bypass even the best critical thinking skills. Even those who actively try to think logically can still be influenced by cleverly framed arguments, emotional triggers, and biased sources that subtly distort facts. That gap between logical reasoning and recognizing manipulation led me to write Propaganda Power—a practical guide to spotting disinformation, resisting manipulation, and mastering critical thinking in today’s media landscape.
