Hi Kyla, I saw where you reviewed "The House of Horus at Edfu: Ritual in an Ancient Egyptian Temple." You stated it did not have the "Tale of the Ancestors" translation/story and you would have to looks elsewhere. Did you find the Tale of the Ancestors? If so, in what book? Many thanks for you reviews!
Kyla Lee Ward I'm no longer entirely sure what I meant! But I think it was the Divine Souls mentioned on pages 108 - 109. The cited reference is Chassinat's Le Temple d'Edfou, Volume 4. No copy of this was accessible to me, though I have been looking recently. The passage Watterson quotes may indeed be the most substantial.
