Feedback usually inspires me to create. When I hear positive things from people who have read what I wrote it really gets me fired up to create again. This can be an email, a tweet, a review, or anything else I hear about what I am working on. That confidence is what helps me get back to writing, especially if I have had a bit of a hiatus.

BROKEN TRUST was a story that came out from a short story idea. Originally I had the idea to write a story about a lonely survivor of a mass extinction event. I knew the end game was that he found this civilization that was rebuilding from the ashes. I got more interested in the story of rebirth than of the survival so I took on the idea and Broken Trust was born.

Readers. Readers are the only reason I bother to publish what I write. Of course I enjoy building worlds, and creating characters, but the readers that enjoy them make it worth the work.

I am currently working on the still untitled sequel to Dissolution of Peace. Right now it is shaping up to be double the length of the fist book. But it is still too early to tell.
And I am always at work on Plasma Frequency which puts out a new issue every two months. That takes a lot of my time.
