Kristy Brown I read a lot of this genre, a lot! And also call from past experiences of my own for the girl part. Always had a vivid imagination, and find it easy to put myself in others shoes, especially when I've created the character. Kristy Brown The best thing for me is creating a completely new character, giving them little habits, likes and dislikes. Also working at my own pace!
Kristy Brown The curse of writer's block hits all writers, I guess...The way to work through it is write anything, poems, bits of dialogue, just keep at it. I had it for about seven months whilst writing book one, it wasn't nice.
Kristy Brown When I was a teenager, many moons ago, I wrote a lot of angst ridden poetry. So I've always been quite taken with words, poems and stories. I loved to read, especially Roald Dahl books.
