Aaron Dennis No matter how far I ran, it chased me. Upon cornering me, it cried, "I'm pregnant!"
Aaron Dennis The mystery of awareness. Many of you already know that I am a practitioner of the teachings of Juan Matus as portrayed by Castaneda. If I ever learn to perceive energy without the intermediary of interpretive senses, I'll write about it. Thanks for asking.
Aaron Dennis I had to think about this one. It's no secret that I am not a fan of The Lord of The Rings books, but I have read them, and I do love the movies, so my favorite fictional couple is Aragorn and Arwen because he basically gave up his kingdom for her, and she gave up immortality for him. That's assuming I'm remembering the details correctly...but still, their dynamic, I think, is inspiring.
Aaron Dennis The Dragon of Time 2, Dragon Slayer. The first in the series is free on Smashwords, The Dragon of Time, Gods and Dragons. Read it. Rate it. Review it.
Aaron Dennis My most recent release, "Short Stories from the Mind of Aaron Dennis", was the product of wanting to revisit my existing work, clean it up, and make it available in print. While working to that end, I still wanted to create something new, but what? Well, I didn't know. I did some research on Inuit monsters and found the Tuurngait, but there wasn't much on that. Figuring that was a sign from the cosmos to make up my own version, it spawned the horror short and first story in Short Stories, The Tuurngait.

After that, I was on a horror kick and came up with My First, probably after watching too many episodes of SVU, and then I wrote A Night in Hartford, the product of yet another zombie dream.
Aaron Dennis Having a release, or an outlet of sorts, through which creativity, mental concatenations, and succinct day dreams pour out onto paper...or a screen.
Aaron Dennis I have never experienced writer's block. Mostly I just have a string of ideas and simply allow the characters, plotline, environment, or whatever fill in the progression. Every so often, though, I write myself into a corner, but if I'm truly stuck I skip that portion of the story until something fitting strikes my fancy.
