I am just finishing up the 3rd book in my River City Mysteries, Your Lights are Out.. Books 1 and 2 are out now - Your Eight O'clock is Dead and Your Time is Up. I have had so much fun with the characters and the mischief they get into as mysteries are solved. Soon I'll be starting the prequel to the series, which I will make free to all of my newsletter subscribers. I hope you will check out my books.

I struggled with extreme writer's block after my husband died. For years. I tried to write through it and it helped for a bit. I think the big thing is to figure out what is causing the block. Once you do that, you can successfully work on the cause and eventually get it under control.

You get to craft worlds that your characters live in. You make up the rules and everything is in your control. My characters let me think I'm in control anyway.
