My current WIP is called Halfling a SteamPunk/Fae novel... the idea was prompted by a short story of mine entitled The Others which is included in a upcoming Anthology release called Tales Of The Fairy:Steam Punk Faries Volume II (Steamworks Ink/Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly Publishing). May 06th 2015 release.
I wanted to expand the world that I'd begun in the short story, AND that story was prompted believe it or not because of construction of a highway near my house. The entire area with the half finished Highway and the machinery surrounding the work site, reminded me of a post apocalyptic scene...so from there my what ifs began:)

Music helps me go into the space I need in order to write. Each writing project has a playlist and usually each project has different styles of music. But yes, music really helps start the writing flow.:)

I'm now working on a Steam Punk/Fae novel. I've entered Camp Nano so my hope is to have the novel completed by the end of April:)
