I take a break from what I'm writing and read. I try to read authors that inspire me--Augusten Burroughs, Erma Bombeck, Carl Hiaasen--or that make me laugh--Augusten Burroughs, Erma Bombeck, Carl Hiaasen . . . usually their wit is enough to help me relax and get past or around the block.
