S R Button The sequel to The Luck of Elfbones. It is the second book in a trilogy - something that I hope will come as a pleasant surprise to anyone who has just reached the final page of the first book (yes, it isn't the end end).
S R Button It took me a long time to accept the idea that I could be a writer. Am I good enough? What will people think of what I write? What will people think of me thinking I can write a book? I eventually realised that those questions all have the same answer: it doesn't matter. A writer is someone who writes. Whether your writing is good or bad, you are a writer. The more you write the better you will become. Enjoy the process; don't worry too much about the outcome. And remember, writing a book is difficult. If you can get to that final page (with polish) you've achieved something to be proud of.
S R Button I keep on writing. Just write anything. It can be any old rubbish, but you keep the momentum going. If you let writer's block stop you writing it will be a lot harder to get back into the flow when the block is lifted. There could also be some gold in that rubbish (after a few revisions).
S R Button The price of goods kept on rising and rising. Plus there was a ghost.
