Doug Richardson The Lucky Dey franchise began as me trying to develop a television series about a rogue Los Angeles County Sheriffs deputy. The more I thought about it, the more I discovered the character would be better served in a noir series of crime fiction. I'm very pleased with my choice.

Doug Richardson It's never been an issue. I've been stuck a few times with plot. I'm big on writing through obstacles knowing I'll be rewriting and rewriting again.
