I don’t start with an outline. I begin writing with the most basic idea. The characters build and the story takes direction as it goes along. I add notes to the bottom of the manuscript for later chapters.

I am currently working on another story, but have had many recent distractions. Though I have stopped physically writing for several weeks, the plot has been running through my mind. I’m still not sure if these characters are going to provide us with a romance or action/adventure.

I deal with writers block by reading back through the manuscript. I go back a few chapters or start from the beginning. By the time I reach the end I’m pretty sure where the characters are going or what I want to happen next.
