How do you get inspired to write?
Suzanne Ress I write at least three pages every morning, like I clean the horse boxes, and go for a run, whether I feel like it or not. It's just something I do.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Suzanne Ress I have a long time interest in monasteries, and the take off point for my most recent novel was a short story I wrote some years ago by the same name.
