Shirley Corder When I first started to think of writing a fiction book, I kept reading "Write what you know". The one area I knew best is that of a pastor's wife. So I formed a family of characters and wrote a story. But the story-line was weak. Then last year, I had an ah-hah moment! My pastor's wife ran away - from all the pressures to conform, from her husband and kids. And wow! It opened up a whole new story.
Shirley Corder How to live like a "perfect minister's wife" when you're not. :-) Actually, partly the theme of my releasing novel, Returning to Amanda.
Shirley Corder Concentrate on other writing, especially blogging. I soon want back into my story.
Shirley Corder The satisfaction that accompanies the "Have written" stage!
Shirley Corder Write! Don't aim at a book. Start with learning the trade through publishing short articles.
Shirley Corder The life of Hagar, and I'm stuck on the full title. Any suggestions?
Shirley Corder Mainly through Bible reading, listening to sermons in Church and recorded sermons on my mp4 player.
Shirley Corder I wanted to write another in the series, "Out of the Shadow", where I cover the story of a Biblical woman who is "lost in the shadow" of someone else (or a specific situation.) I am now busy with a lady who was forced into an unpleasant situation, yet the Lord came to her.
