Just keep swimming! It's hard. All of it is hard. Writer's block, bad reviews, time management. It saps your creativity. So my advice is to just keep at it.

I've always been a voracious reader since I was a kid. My love of words and interesting stories made me want to write something of my own. But, it was my husband who inspired me to write. He gave me the push to put fingers to keyboard and actually do it.

The idea for An Ocean of Secrets (coming 12/6/15) came from a conversation with a fellow author about how my refrigerator sounded like it was haunted. The story of Ezzie Lovegreen blossomed from there.
