Roo's collar lay abandoned on the empty towpath, the faint sound of her barking echoing from the misty canal. As Jane frantically searched, she realized with a shiver that the barking was coming from beneath the water's surface.

Obviously because of my love of animals it would have to be somewhere I could take Roo, somewhere with woodland squirrel chases, open beaches where she could run around and explore, somewhere with other (not too big and scary dogs). Close to real life to be honest!
