That would depend on ones preferences, wouldn't it? I have books in several genre. For fantasy, maybe something brief and brisk, such as 'The Eyes of the Wind' or 'The Ways of Wizardry.' Though 'God of Rain' wouldn't be a bad choice either—or if you particularly would like a female lead, maybe 'Arrows of Heaven.'
If we're talking more mainstream stuff, maybe the fast-paced espionage adventure 'The DIctator's Children.' Or its complete opposite, the contemporary 'relationship' novel 'Asanas.' Or just buy 'em all and decide yourself!

The key for me is to have multiple projects going. If one bogs down, I go work on another. And if creativity seems to disappear completely, go work in the garden---it will come back!
