Tuuli Hypén I merely wanted to breathe life into my old comics and come up with a collection of new daily comic strips featuring as many old characters as possible. I wanted the overall theme of the comic book to be something geeky, because geeky things are easy to approach even if you don't know what the comic is all about. That's why I decided to draw quite a few comic strips about board games and digital gaming.
Tuuli Hypén I don't get inspired to write any more than I get inspired to pay my bills. If you want to be a writer, you have to write. If you want to be an artist, you have to draw. It sucks and it takes a lot of time. I wish there was a better way.
Tuuli Hypén I'm earning a living drawing various illustrations, but I will hopefully get back to drawing comics. Perhaps a collection of short urban horror stories.
Tuuli Hypén Don't give up. Having your work published for the first time is worth all the hassle.
Tuuli Hypén You get bragging rights for being a writer. Your cat is so very proud of you.
Tuuli Hypén I try to work late at night. When I get tired enough my brain shuts down the area responsible for self-criticism and I start to come up with all kinds of stupid ideas. Stupid ideas are essential for writing comedy.
