It's a bit political! I'm fed up with the idea that we are resistant to immigration so I took the idea forward to imagining England as a totalitarian dictatorship and contrasted that with a small democratic African country which welcomes immigrants and benefits in all sorts of ways from newcomers willing to integrate with the local culture.
