Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Dmitri Ragano My current book in progress "The Watch List" is a continuation of the Temo McCarthy series inspired by Franz Kafka's classic "The Castle". As an adolescent, I was deeply influenced by Kafka's ability to transpose the the deep existential struggles of our sub-conscious into a phantasmagoric narrative. The best mysteries and thrillers provide a metaphor for our lifelong quest to overcome impossible odds and find truth, meaning and fulfillment.
