A rachadura na parede do quarto havia crescido dez centímetros durante a noite, mas isso não era o que mais me preocupava. O que me aterrorizava era o olho que piscava dentro dela, me observando enquanto eu fingia dormir.
The crack in my bedroom wall had grown ten inches overnight, but that wasn't what worried me most. What terrified me was the eye blinking inside it, watching me as I pretended to sleep.
