I am writing on a short story that is a follow-up to The Vegas Affair, showcasing one of the side characters. I hope to finish it early this year, but haven't set a release date yet.
Also, as usual, I also have two other partial manuscripts of a completely different series (and genre!) in work, and scribbled ideas for half a dozen other stories, long and short.

Just start writing. Write something bad. Write a scene in the middle of the story. Write a scene in the middle of a completely different story, completely different genre. If you're a fiction writer, try writing non-fiction, like a blog post or a newspaper article (even if you don't have a publisher!). If you're a non-fiction writer, make up a story. But put words to paper, no matter how bad they look to you at the time.

I love to learn and explore. If someone would pay me to attend college, I would happily spend my life earning degree after degree, in every subject offered. Art, architecture, history, politics, business, engineering...Writing gives me the perfect excuse to research a city I've never been to, or to read up on a career for one of my characters.
