Melissa Wiley Thanks for this great question! I would suggest my middle-grade novels THE PRAIRIE THIEF (a historical fantasy with a slice of mystery) or THE NERVIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD (historical fiction about the early days of silent film). I hope you enjoy them!

Melissa Wiley Thank you! New books in the works all the time! I'm working on a new middle-grade novel at the moment (slated for Spring 2027) and have a picture book in the works as well.

Are the Martha years and the Charlotte years their actual childhood or is it a fiction series?

Melissa Wiley Both series are historical fiction. They are fictionalized accounts of Charlotte and Martha's lives, based on the limited information the LIW estate had in the archives.
