Cathie Whitmore I don't really know where my ideas come from. They just seem to pop into my head out of nowhere.
Cathie Whitmore I am not one of those people who can say I have always wanted to write, as for me it came about quite by accident. The only thing I can say now after self-publishing five books, is that once I started writing I couldn't stop and now I can't imagine my life without it.
Cathie Whitmore I had ten chapters of my second women's fiction novel written, when I put it aside and went back to improving the first one. Now after ten months, I am keen to get back into it and pick up where I left off.
Cathie Whitmore Take your time with your manuscript and don't be in a hurry to publish. I made that mistake and ended up replacing the first ebook of Piece by Piece with an updated version. And it didn't stop there. More revision and more changes resulted in a third eBook and this time I think I've got it right.
Cathie Whitmore The enjoyment writing gives me is definitely the best part for me. Everything else is a bonus.
Cathie Whitmore I rarely experience writer's block as I tend to keep going when the words are flowing, and if they're not, I move to a different part of the story. I find my way of doing things works for me, as eventually everything just seems to fall into place.
