Tamela Miles Hi Tamela! It's lovely to hear from another one of us. How's life in the UK? I have a couple of tips for you. First, you need a beta reader or two to look over your first manuscript draft. Having another author as your beta reader is probably your best bet. Next, figure out if you want to go the self - publishing route (where you do all the work except for your book cover - you'll need an artist for that : ) ), which gives you 100% royalties to keep as your own or go the traditional publishing route. I've done both and they both have their advantages. If one of the big boy publishing houses won't even look at your work, try the smaller presses. Hope I've helped you! Thanks for your support! : )
