Taabia Dupree How to deal with writer's block? Keep writing. Write anything. Write about the day, the weather, your neighbor, your favorite story as a child, recreate an old story, or just sit there, stop thinking about what you MUST do, but what you want to do, the things that you must do, can come later.
Taabia Dupree The best thing about being a writer is being able to let the voices do what they do, talk.

The muses that help fill the pages with ink, they are the heroes, I am just the one that helps bring things to light.

Taabia Dupree For all of those aspiring writers who think they are not writers, I say, keep writing anyway. No matter your thoughts, write them down, keep going until you have the courage to publish.

Do not be discouraged by those who tell you you are not good enough. Work hard and work at your dream of being published.

Editors can help you work out the grammar and such, but the creativity that goes into writing, that is your gift to your readers.

Good luck.
Taabia Dupree My inspiration comes from a long history of reading books that I always wanted to write. I decided to become a writer, and once I put my creative thoughts together with my imaginary characters, it all came together.

So, today, I get inspired by what I see. A picture, can create an entire series of ideas.
Taabia Dupree The book I am currently working on is part in a series. Jessica's Obsession is book one, and Flagentio's is book two.

The idea for the series itself came from being friends with ex-pro-wrestler, now model, John Quinlan. He had someone so interested in him, they wanted to pretend they were him.

I thought why not create a book about a female that wanted him, and could not have him. I combined what I heard about other stories of celebrities and obsessed fans.

So, that's how Jessica was born. John is the muse for the story, he even makes an appearance in book 1, Jessica's Obsession, as himself, John Quinlan.
