The idea for 'Raven Brought the Light' came from reading a National Geographic magazine on the Urumchi mummies. It showed plaid wearing blonde and red headed mummies. It got me thinking.
The idea for 'Along the Far Shores' came from a children's book I spotted when I was a children's librarian. It talked about the 12th century voyage to America of Prince Madog of Wales. I'd never heard about it and thought it would make for a great tale to continue the Celtic Knot series.
