While there isn’t an audiobook available yet, it’s something I’d love to explore in the future. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy diving into the story in print or ebook!

As for book two, the final book in the series is with editors and getting ready for release this fall.

Nikki Jefford It's adult paranormal romance, but it really depends on the maturity level of the teen. I was reading bodice rippers at age 13. 🤣🤷‍♀️

Your book called The Toad Prince featured in Once Upon A Kiss: 17 Romantic Faerie Tales, I am trying to find a single version for the purpose of accurate numbers on my shelves. I can not seem to find a single version of this book it seems the only way this book is accessible is through the collection I mentioned above. Is there a way to list a single version on here?

Nikki Jefford Hi, Kaya. The Toad Prince is available exclusively in the Once Upon a Kiss anthology, which is why you're not finding a single version.
There is a full novel with the characters from this story that I've set aside for rewrites and hope to work on next year when I've caught up on other deadlines.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Nikki Jefford Getting the opportunity to make new friends, visit new places, fall in love, (be sarcastic), and save the day over and over again.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Nikki Jefford - Finishing the Seven series by Dannika Dark so I can get started on her new Crossbreed series
- I love everything Sarah J. Maas. The only book of hers I have left to read is The Assassin's Blade: The Throne of Glass Novellas
- Now that I've read and flipped out over Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, I want to go back and finish the Grisha books
- Rereading Game of Thrones - the gorgeous illustrated version
- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
- The Hollow Crown (The Kingfountain Series) by Jeff Wheeler
- Lightness Falling by Stacey Marie Brown
for starters! ;-)

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Nikki Jefford 1) READ
My go-to way around writer's block is to read and watch engaging TV series. It nearly always gets the creative juices flowing. It's also helpful for problem solving when I'm experiencing serious brain blockage.
2) EXERCISE
I'm an avid speed walker. It gets the blood flowing and is my favorite time to brainstorm.
3) TALK IT OUT
Getting outside input is a tremendous help. Not only does it expose you to new possibilities (or potential problems), it can lead you to those wonderful "ah ha" moments when you figure things out for yourself just by discussing it aloud with someone else.

What are you currently working on?

Nikki Jefford - An epic romantic fantasy series. Think Pride & Prejudice meets Game of Thrones.

- A fantastical post-apoplectic adult romance with wolf shifters, wizards, and other creatures.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Nikki Jefford I'm crazy about Rhysand, High Lord of the Night Court, and Feyre from Sarah J. Maas's Court of Thorns and Roses series. On top of their earthshattering chemistry, I love Rhysand and Feyre's vulnerabilities and, that despite all obstacles thrown between them, they're a badass, loyal team, who recognizes the other as their soulmate.

Are there going to be anymore Aurora Sky Books? I read all 6 books plus the novelles and have really fallen in love with the charecters

Nikki Jefford Hi, Cassie. Thank you for reading all the Aurora Sky books AND novellas! I'm happy you enjoyed the characters. I miss spending time with Aurora, Fane and the gang. This concludes the series. There could possibly be one last story/mission included in an anthology next year. Hi Nikki. I wanted to ask you, in Book 4 of Aurora Sky, is there a reason that none of the paragraphs are indented in? I've tried everything on my Kindle Paperwhite, to get it to indent, but nothing is working. Makes it hard to read... I'm doing it mind you LOL.. since I love this series.. I just thought it was odd. Thank you:) Shawn

I read Aurora Sky: Vampire Hunter last Saturday and I finished the entire series' tonight. I'm hooked! Losing sleep over reading was definitely worth it. When will the final book be released? I gotta know so I can set a countdown/reminder on my calendar.

I have a voracious reading appetite and have devoured your books, I swear they should come with an "ADDICTIVE" label from the Surgeon General. I finished the Aurora Sky books (ANXIOUSLY waiting for June!) and realized in great Horror that I had missed 0.5 It isn't on Amazon. Would you mind letting me know about "Night of the Living Dante 0.5" please? Let me know if it is still available somewhere?

Thank you for adding me as a friend, I am SUCH a huge fan. I have never been one to read much of the Vampire genre and just do not care for the characters most authors develop in their books, but yours enchant me and leave me "thirsting" for more. I cannot WAIT for my next taste of Aurora! Hope she comes along soon?
