Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Mel Atkey My most recent book was the journal I kept while travelling with a circus in Taiwan. I didn't need "ideas", it was all happening around me.

What are you currently working on?
Mel Atkey I'm working on a new musical with a writer in London, Ontario. I can't tell you too much except that I am writing the music and he is doing the script.
