My husband and I really enjoyed reading the first book in the series The Mystery of Smugglers Cove. I read aloud to him. I notice that the next book to read would be The Mystery of the Missing Money, book 1 of the short stories. Between the two series of books, what order is best for them to be read in?

Paul Moxham Hello Agnes. I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed my book. Yes, that is correct, The Mystery of the Missing Money does follow next, that is the order I wrote the series in. However, all of the books are standalone and, while it would be better to read the novels in the order that they occur, you are not going to miss much if you don't. This also applies to the short stories, but even more so since the short stories do not connect with the novels. Basically, while the short stories occur in and around Smugglers Cove, the novels are mainly set outside of this seaside village. So it just comes down to what you feel like reading, a short story or a long one. Either one works just as well and you won't miss any enjoyment regardless of which books you read first. Enjoy :)
