My interests at any given time gives me plenty of ideas for my books. The latest book came to me while I was sitting in a college class, when we discussed whether Constantine was truly a Christian, or was he a poser?

I simply MUST write. The passion burning in me propels me to put words down. It's how I make sense of the world. If I happen to lack the inspiration before a writing session, I listen to music or view pictures of the time period I'm writing about. I close my eyes and view the past, and then think of the characters and their importance, and I remember why the world needs to know about these particular people.

Writer's block, for me, is simply a lack of inspiration. A jog, a great song, a hike through a forest, or some other inspirational activity usually fills me with the passion I need for any given scene.
