What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Charlie White My suggestion for an exciting summer read, especially if you're vacationing at a beach resort or on a cruise (if you're not afraid of shipwrecks while on a ship): "In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex." It's one of the best books I've ever read. A true story -- I couldn't put it down!

Charlie White Thank you so much, Jeanie! I really wanted to like that book, but it was annoying in so many ways. It wore a scientific costume but it didn't deliver for me. Your mileage may vary!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Charlie White Pop two Altoid peppermints and start typing. Type anything related to your topic and after two or three sentences it'll start flowing. It's probably already in your mind, but for me, the Altoids tend to focus it just enough to clear the logjam!
