Hi Carley,
I'm so pleased that you like my covers. Great feedback always makes me feel good. I do design and create all of my own covers, but I source images and fonts that fit with my vision and blend them into a cohesive cover. I'd love to have the tools to create everything myself. It's on my wishlist. My dream as a kid was to be a graphic designer.
Thanks for taking the time to ask :)

Wow! Thanks for such positive feedback. It's nice to know that someone likes them. I've always been interested in graphic design, so when it comes to my book covers I love creating them. I just use a generic software which I've taught myself to use over the past few years. It's all a matter of having a clear vision and giving the design plenty of depth. In the redesign of my Time Square covers I wanted the main text to have a vintage feel to compliment the cogs of time. After some research and a bit of trial and error, I was very happy with the final distressed metal finish.

I try not to dwell on it. I think its a message that you need a break. A fresh mind always helps, so I do something else for a while.

Finishing a book. Having something that you have created from nothing. Something that is totally your own work.

Keep writing. Be prepared for a long journey. Develop a hard shell and try not to take everything personally. Its a tough ask, but necessary.

I'm currently working on the second book in my Time Square series. Its called TIME SQUARE | UFO and explores what may have happened in Roswell in 1947. I'm hoping to have it ready for release in September 2014.

That's a tough question. Everyday I see things that inspire me. Its just a matter of remembering them when I'm actually writing.

My newest series, Time Square, was born in book three (The Fallen Pharaoh) of my first series. One of the settings was such an amazing place that its story needed to be shared.
