The best thing about being a writer is being able to create things. I look forward to expanding my imagination which often gets stifled when we are children. The idea of actually making some of the crazy thoughts in actuality on paper and into a finished product which inspires and entertains people.

I wrote as a child and into my teen years. I am an avid reader and I was reading this article about a young lady who self-published her own book and sold 400,000 copies via the ebook. I had moved back to small town to get away from the fast paced life in Chicago, and found I could take up a hobby again. I decided to start back writing.

I am currently working in Innocence Lost a Malevolent Chronicles story. Agnes the main character learns some information about her parents past and some information on how she possible was born with the special talents that she has.

I often sit down and just write anything whether it makes sense or not. At other times I find something constructive to do with my time, like grade papers or plan for the school year, that really helps me hone in on writing again because I realize that if I don't come up with something worthwhile, I will have to continue teaching until retirement and I'd rather write because it is infinitely more pleasing to me.
