Hey Christina. I’m reading through all the Angelbound Universe books that I’ve already read, and catching up on the ones I haven’t. I know that your not a linear timeframe author but I was wondering if you had a suggested reading order of the order of Angelbound Origin & Angelbound Lincoln books in chronological order? Like Duty Bound, Angelbound, Lincoln, Scala, Trickster, Acca etc? Cheers, Kate

Christina Bauer Thanks for your question! There are three ways you can read Angelbound:

One. However you want!

Two. Angelbound Origins, Angelbound Lincoln, Angelbound Offspring, Angelbound Xavier

Three. Although I’m a non-linear thinker, the books are actually written in chronological order. I wish it all came out chronologically, but that’s not how my gift works :/ My goal is that once the series is done, there will be Origins/Lincoln books until Maxon turns 21. If I were starting fresh or looking for a new way to enjoy the series, this is how I’d do it. Thanks for your understanding!

I was wondering whether we would get to read the angelbound series from Xavier's perspective? Similar to Lincoln.

Christina Bauer Honestly, I hadn't thought about that but it's a SUPER idea!!! Xavier is such a fascinating character and since he's been alive since the beginning of time, he could have such interesting views on a ton of subjects. Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?

Christina Bauer My three year old sneaks upstairs. I hear the long grind of porcelain being dragged around the bathroom. (True story and, indeed, it ended with the horror of my son creating a 'swimming pool' in the bathroom. The kid moves fast!)

I'm also super happy that you find my ideas amazing. To answer your question: in order to generate fresh concepts, I must be veeeeeeeery careful about what I read, watch and so on. To that end, I haven't had a regular TV (only internet) for more than 20 years. When I read books, I look for non-mainstream stuff. And I need to keep a steady diet of new things to learn about. (YouTube is great for that!) So for me, being an original writer is more a lifestyle than anything else :)

Christina Bauer First of all, I'm SO HAPPY you're enjoying my angelbound series!!! To answer your question about Prescott, he wasn't a purely evil soul... more of an obsessed person who really got off track from his best self. In the afterlife, Myla put Prescott through Purgatory's rehabilitation program and eventually sent him to Heaven. Soul rehabilitation is one of the fixes that Myla's mother put in place after she became President of Purgatory.

Dear Christina, I absolutely love the Angelbound Origins Series and the Angelbound Lincoln Series. With that said, I just want to know if the series ending, or are you planning on making more books. Christina Bauer The Short Answer… So glad you enjoy the series! I currently do three Angelbound releases a year: one for Angelbound Origins, one for Angelbound Lincoln and one for Angelbound Offspring. In all honesty, I don’t see myself stopping writing Angelbound Origins and Lincoln stuff any time soon. Offspring may go on a pause starting in 2023.

The Long Answer…Right now, my plan is to write three more Angelbound Offspring books, namely KAPS in 2020, Huntress in 2021 and Scala Heir in 2022. After that, methinks I’ll take a break and do two Lincoln books and one Origins book each year. My goal? Catch up to where every Origins (Myla) story is followed by a Lincoln story that happens right after in terms of action. At this point, the timelines aren’t in sync and I would like to fix that, but I need to catch up on Lincoln stuff to do it.

I've read the first 2 books in the origins series and I absolutely loved them!! I was wondering why they come out in different order and the last book came out before the fifth?

Christina Bauer Hey there! I first wrote Angelbound (Book 1), Scala (Book 2), Armageddon (started off as book3) and then the offspring series. That was fun. After that, I went back and got inspired to write some stuff on Myla and Lincoln's wedding, so those became books 3, 4, and 5. Not sure why the books came out that way, but they did did! The current reading order is:

.5 Dutybound
1. Angelbound
2. Scala
3. Acca
4. Thrax
5. Dark Lands - coming out in Sept 2018
6. (the old book 3 or 5) Armageddon

Offpsring series
1. Maxon
2. Portia
3. Zinnia Coming out in Sept 2019
4. Kaps Sept 2020
5. Huntress Sept 2021

I also have Betrothed (book 1.5 from Lincoln's POV) coming out in Spring 2019, so I'm a non-linear gal, I guess.

My suggestion: Read in whatever order works best for you, but certainly folks tell me that they still enjoy when I add to the middle of a series... even when they read the next book in the series. I guess my imagination is kind of out there, so even if you know where the story is going, it's still a surprise how you get there, if that makes sense.

Plus: if you want to enjoy the books in a different way, I have read many as audiobooks too.

I was wondering if books 4-6 in the Angelbound origins series will be getting the audiobook treatment?

Christina Bauer All the ANGELBOUND ORIGINS books will be turned into audiobooks! Book 4 THRAX comes out in late May :-)

Hi Christina, I'm really enjoying the Angelbound series and am about to finish book 3. Is there any reason that books 4 and 5 are not available in Kindle Unlimited yet books 1-3 and 6 are? I am at a point where most of the books I read are KU, especially series ones.

Christina Bauer Thanks so much for writing and I'm super-excited you're enjoying ANGELBOUND! Book 4, THRAX, was supposed to be on KU a while ago. I keep opening complaint tickets and they keep closing them without fixing it. Grrr. I won't give up, though! Book 5, DARK LANDS, hadn't been released yet and it can't go into KU until after it's live (at least that's how my contract works). Hi, I just want to know if thrax has released because goodreads says that it has been published but amazon says that the book will release on 26th Sept? I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this book, so can you please let me know its release date if it hasn't already been released? Thanks :)

Hello i have listened to Angelbound Book 1 on audible and loved it, i was wondering when will Book 2 be available on audible aswell ?

So I've read two of your Angelbound books, Angelbound and Scala. Both were AMAZING! Was very impressed and Myla is an amazing character to encourage my daughter to read more. My question is this, now that I have read what I am assuming is the first two books, what would be the best progression in this story, or at least what your intentions are after writing them? Should I wait for Acca? Where to from here?

Christina Bauer So first of all, I am SO PSYCHED that you like my books! :::does happy dance::: In any book that I write, I create it to stand alone, but ARMAGEDDON (current book after SCALA) has some spoilers in it. That said, if you're not spoiler-sensitive, then read them all! But I'm guessing you ARE sensitive, which is why you asked. So long story short, I'd wait for ACCA. I just found your books and read them all in a week that I loved them so much. I wanted to know if there would be a third book in the Angelbound Offspring series because Max is now an elemental and Portia is full daemon so there's no scala heir. Are they going to have a third child?

Christina Bauer Thanks for your note! I'm so happy that you liked the series! Yes, I have another trilogy mapped out that introduces the Scala heir. It features Portia and Tempest's kids :-) I have sone other stories to get out of my head first, but then I'll get that scala heir spot filled!

Just finished the entire Angelbound series (loved it all), and I know you have Acca (book 2.5) in the works. However, will you continue writing more of the Offsprings series? Afterall, we still need a Scala Heir...

Christina Bauer Funny you should say that! I have a series on Portia and Tempest's kids mapped out that's part of the Angelbound Origins Series (Books 3-5, starting with ZINNIA in the summer of 2019). There is also at least one book on Walker in the Angebound Worlds Series, which kicks off with XAVIER in 2019 (Yes, it's the story of how he fell in love). I have so many flipping stories in my head and not enough hours in the day to get them out! Thanks so much for the note--I love hearing from readers!

I know you've answered this question but I didn't really understand it... How many books for Angelbound will there be? Will there be anymore Angelbound Origin Series? Coz those are awesome!!!! I haven't finished reading Armageddon yet... I started the series yesterday and can't put them down!!
