Shame on me Holly, I've just seen this! Only because I've been writing my what nots off! My sincere apologies. I have heard of Ulster Projects and ironically my next project is writing the 'Project Children' story which brought 23,000 kids over from Ireland to the US during the Troubles. Never say never, you'll get here somehow and I promise you, it'll be worth it! JB

I have had so many experiences in my own life I couldn’t comment! Not so many mysteries. I think the nearest and hardest thing for me is grief. I’ve been able to release my own grief from having lost two brothers and my dad at an early age. J

I'm told I'm a control freak! I love having control over plots, how my characters look, feel and act. Some of them, I don't even like! Once I'm in that zone, I can almost feel and touch them. I just love it. My imagination takes me to a place no-one else can go to my own amazing world!

Firstly, believe in yourself then close your eyes and let your imagination run away with you. As they say, everyone has a book to write, so do it! Just write for the joy of it and if you're lucky enough to make a living from it, lucky you! Remember your imagination can take you anywhere.....

I suddenly realised that there were very few "fictional" stories about the Troubles in the North of Ireland and through my story, I wanted to educate those who didn't know - or at one time want to know - why the troubles began in the first place!
